

Marine Conservation Course
An opportunity to gain an insight into the marine conservation of our sea shores and discover first hand the marine life in our local aquatic system and learn more about the worlds oceans.
Day One
The morning theory session will cover The Cornish Coast. This is a look at the local marine environment, the life it supports the way we use it and what it has to offer. Action that can be take to conserve habitats and species such as the Shark including conservation of the species that could become extinct, with an overview of worldwide shark conservation issues and organisations.
Afternoon session-Snorkel and dive the waters around the Cornish coast.
Day Two
The morning theory session will cover the Environment. A look at the sea as a playground, or a dustbin, also looking at the conservation issues around the worlds and Whales and Dolphins. This will include species found locally and around the world and what we can do to help them.
Afternoon session- A coastal boat trip.
Day Three
The morning theory session will cover, The Reef, coral and other types of reef, how they effect us and life in the sea and Planet Ocean, a look at the history and future of the worlds oceans, how we can make a difference and where do we go from here.
Afternoon session- a snorkel or dive in the waters around the Cornish coast.
